Another Pinterest Triumph!
I have been wanting a gorgeous mirror to go in our hallway for some time.
However... have you looked at the prices of mirrors!? Cheese and crackers.
I pinned this tutorial to my Crafty board a while ago and made a mental note to work up the courage to do it. Well, while I was at Lowes last week (using the gift card we got after buying our new washer and dryer. Funnnn!!) I picked up a door mirror, which was about $5.95. Can do! The only problem was it looked so shabby hanging behind my vase of branches.
That was when I decided to be brave and build something.
And let me tell you... it came out perfectly! I love it and think it's beautiful and would have cost a lot more than what it took to make it!

Not sure I'm in love with the branches, but it's all I've got for now. I think I want to do some peacock feathers or something crazy like that.
Anyway - if you're looking for a decently easy, cheap, gorgeous little project - try this out! But be warned - if you don't have a saw, you have to buy one (the one she uses in the tutorial is the one I have, it's apparently really cheap to buy, less than $10) and let me be frank. Sawing through wood manually is HARD! But it's a great workout! Win win, right? ;)
